Graphic designer and illustrator.
Making information friendly since 1981.

Hi, I'm Ron.
I make complex things feel human.

An unusual mix of skills across infographics, illustration, printmaking, marketing design, and interactive - all aimed at making the difficult feel obvious.

That mix came together over time. I trained as an animator at **Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem**. After graduating, I joined the infographics desk at Israel's biggest newspaper, where I fell in love with the field. I really enjoy taking a complicated subject and turning it into something people want to read.

A few years later I co-founded **weekends at** fashion brand, and led the design across eight themed collections over six years. Outside the brand, I created a personal print series inspired by **Tel Aviv** and **Jerusalem**. It was exhibited in **Taipei, Philadelphia,** and **New York,** and now decorates tens of thousands of homes internationally. Over those years, I've been lucky to work with a variety of clients, including **Nespresso, Universal Studios, Time Out Magazine,** and **Clipper** lighters.

My love for design and  eye for detail both started as a kid in my grandmother's apartment in **Jerusalem**. It was full of art and objects she'd brought back from places she lived in around the world, all chosen with serious taste. She taught me that the real magic lives in the small, mostly unnoticed, details.

These days I work from **Berlin,** mostly with clients abroad. After all those years across so many disciplines, what I want now are projects I can get excited about. A strong concept, a brief that surprises me, a client who wants a real collaborator. I trust my skill set to handle whatever the project needs.
